Emma Hughes, DMD
It is with great excitement that we welcome Dr. Emma Hughes to Crowns Now Irmo, where she will be providing exceptional care to our patients.
Dr. Hughes is no stranger to Crowns Now—she worked with us before attending dental school, and we are thrilled that her journey has come full circle. She loved our team and patients so much; she couldn’t stay away!
A native of upstate South Carolina, Dr. Hughes was born and raised in Woodruff. She graduated from Woodruff High School and later attended Wofford College (Go Terriers!), where she earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and Spanish. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.
After several years out of state, Dr. Hughes is excited to be back home in South Carolina with her family. She is trained in many aspects of general dentistry and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Hughes is also a proud member of the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hughes met her husband, Dr. Michael Jauch, in dental school. Together, they have two young children, Parker and Molly, as well as two beloved dogs, Sutton and Stella, who keep their household full of energy and joy.
We’re so excited to have Dr. Hughes back with us—and we know you’ll love her as much as we do!
